We are looking for a Node.js Developer, who has the enthusiasm and readiness to create responsible digital services with a professional approach. In this role, you get to impact the solutions made in the projects, all from architecture to integration solutions. You work as a part of the project team, but are also capable of working independently. The work is done in cooperation with the customer to ensure delivering the most effective solutions for them.

What is the job like?

As a Node.js Developer, you get to impact our customers’ success directly. You find the right and sustainable digital solutions for the customer’s business, and you customize functionalities according to the customer’s needs confidently. Our clients include actors from the public administration, the private sector and international actors.

The most important tasks of your job are:

• Design and implementation of customized backend systems / microservices for different needs

• Definition, implementation and testing of interfaces and integrations

• Presentation of the results of your work to the team and giving feedback in the form of pull requests

• Customer communication and modifying solutions based on the feedback you receive

On top of interesting tasks, we offer you possibilities for professional growth supported by our career path model. Independent approach to work in this role is an advantage, but we don’t expect you to know everything right away and will support your learning and progress. Our teams work following agile methods and you can flexibly work from the office or remotely.

What kind of a person are we looking for?

We are looking for you if you have at least 2 years of experience in developing and programming with Node.js.  You are familiar with technologies and environments such as TypeScript, Express and SQL databases. You also might be acquainted with integrations and architecture design already. 

You have worked with AWS and Azure and with content management systems such as Strapi or Contentful, or at least you don’t shy away from learning them. We appreciate eagerness to learn new things and not being afraid to dive into technologies that are new to you.

We also consider a good attitude and willingness to share your knowledge with others important. Strong communication skills will help you work in the customer interface, as well as in different teams with your colleagues. We require good English language skills, as it is the official working language of Exove. Finnish skills are a plus.

The monthly salary in the role is somewhere between €3,500 and €5,300, depending on your experience.
