We can take full responsibility for designing and implementing our customers’ systems or applications. They may either have an idea that they see value in implementing, or then they have a challenge that needs a solution. In both cases, we can work with them from the beginning, usually from crystallising the idea or quantifying the problem, to a ready service that is deployed into a hosted server.

Approach

Our approach to these cases is both to pamper our customers and to demand a lot from them. Pampering means that we will run the show for them, take care of all external integration points, hosting, and every technical tidbit that needs to be handled before a successful system can be launched.

The demanding part is that we need them to run with us, telling us what is important for them and what can be thrown out, if needed. We need to thoroughly understand their business, and ways to make money or add value with the service in the works. Based on this information, we will make technical decisions and move forward with the actual implementation.

Project Execution

We provide our customers the relevantly skilled team to fulfil their needs. The competencies may include concept design, visual design, user interface design, user experience studies, back-end implementation, front-end implementation, testing, and deployment into production.

Goals tend to change during the project — this is not a problem for us. We just need to know them as soon as the need for change has been realised, and then work together to figure out what is the best way to reach the changed or new goal. We have been praised for our flexibility and efficiency, and the best results are gained when everyone knows that changes are bound to happen and are prepared for them.

If our customers want to use third parties in certain parts of the project, we will work with other external parties forming one big virtual team working for the customer. Most of our cases are done in co-operation with at least one or two other parties, and in some cases there have been more than a dozen stakeholders. We can also provide external experts for special areas, such as iPhone or Nokia S60 development.
