PHP Developer
In this role you are responsible for designing and implementing the functionalities of our customers’ web sites and services together with concept designers, graphic artists and other developers. You use open source code and libraries daily, integrating them to the solutions you are developing.
Taking part in the definition and the technical design of the systems with architects and customers is also one of your tasks. Besides development, you will work closely with our quality assurance team to maintain quality of our services and solutions.
Knowledge of the following is required:
- PHP
- MySQL
- XHTML and CSS
- JavaScript
We expect a good working knowledge of PHP and MySQL, and ability to build services based on both technical and visual specifications. XHTML and JavaScript are a daily part of your job. You produce high-quality code, and you know how to test the end product both technically and together with the customer.
It is an advantage if you know any of the following:
- Drupal
- eZ Publish
- Joomla!
- WordPress
- Codelgniter
You are capable of working on your own or as part of a team. You enjoy challenges and like to push your limits. Understanding both the details and the big picture of a solution is easy for you.
You communicate openly, and you’re willing to learn more to develop yourself as a professional. You communicate fluently in English. The knowledge of Finnish language is an asset, but not required.
