Drupal 8 content management system was relased last month. The release had been awaited, and was celebrated in 207 parties around the world. One of the parties was in Helsinki. It was inspiring to see a great number of Drupal developers and users from different companies in Finland come together, share thoughts on Drupal and celebrate the release.
The release weekend continued with DrupalCamp and sprints. We were proud to sponsor the event and thus participate in supporting the community. The camp was opened by our CEO, who talked about how open source is, and always will be, better than closed. It was followed by a number of interesting tech talks, including Symfony and Content management by Jani Tarvainen, and Alberto G. Viu talked about how to create a custom API for a headless Drupal. The slides from our presentations are on our Slideshare channel and below.
